The Borders Chamber Orchestra was founded in July 2023 and has now held two successful concerts in November 2023 and February 2024. The orchestra comprises experienced amateur and semi-professional musicians with a collective passion to play beautiful classical music for the enjoyment of our audience.
We are based in Melrose with the lovely Parish Church as our venue. We intend to perform three or four concerts a year and in addition, you may well see us appearing at various other musical events and festivals. We are a not-for-profit organisation raising money at our concerts for charities with local connections.
