Marie Curie is our chosen charity for our Winter Concert 2024

The orchestra committee has chosen Marie Curie to be the charity that we will support at our Winter Concert on 17th February 2024. Marie Curie is the leading charity for end of life care in the UK. They fund and operate a number of hospices in the UK, the nearest being in Edinburgh. However, they are best known in the Borders for their Marie Curie nurses who have an important role in helping to provide end of life care for people with a terminal illness who wish to spend their last days or weeks being looked after in their own homes.

Donations can be made at the concert in Marie Curie buckets which will be at the rear of the church and daffodil badges will be available to take away to mark the start of the annual Marie Curie daffodil fundraising campaign.
